My name is Kathie Parker. I moved from Washington State in 2012 to Northern Wisconsin after my dad died to help take care of my mom and go to school. I was 54 years old.
It was during this time that Pordie and I hooked up on Facebook, and almost right way she and I were chatting almost every day. She helped me through many tears, anger, frustration, and joy. She was with me through school, my brother's death, my marriage, and so, so much more. We shared our belief in the Lord, and prayer and talking about Jesus was a topic of conversation often.
I was there for her trials with her kitties and her frustrations and sadness as well.
I cried and cried, and my mother pointed out to me that she went home and is now with everyone she was missing and is out of pain. I know I am crying for me and the fact that I will miss her greatly. we also did a lot of laughing and I look forward to seeing her greet me when it's my turn. I love you Pordie.
