To the family and friends of Gerry Anderson,
Back when Gerry was president of Com Energy, he did something that was remarkable and that I always use as an example of his great caring of other people. I was an employee of his in the IT department.
The company was considering moving from Central Square Cambridge to either Wareham or to Kendal Square Cambridge. Instead of letting finances be the sole factor in his decision, as many companies would have done, he was concerned about the employees. So, he let the employees vote and he said that he would abide by their decision. This was one of the most generous decisions that I had ever heard of. Thus, within a year or two, our beautiful building went up next to the Longfellow Bridge and overlooking the Charles River. Everyone was overjoyed and thankful that we had stayed in Cambridge.

Mr. Anderson,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USAF during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow Servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
