Gerald Grubbs Obituary
Cincinnati - Gerald Grubbs, beloved husband of 67 years to Joan (nee Johnson), entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2018. Loving father of Debbie Bockelman, Gerald R. (Mary) Grubbs Esq., Cindy (Charles, DPM) Sugarman and Karla Grubbs. The most fun grandpa of all to 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. His career was spent managing Country Kitchen restaurants. A Celebration of Life service will be held on February 18th. Family will be receiving friends at 2:30 p.m.. The service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH 45216. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meadow Brook Nursing Home, meadowbrookcare.org, or www.Bella CareHospice.net

Gerald was a "can do" person. If he was at a gathering you knew there was going to be fun. He was generous, supportive and had a great laugh. My wife and I have not visited with Gerald for many years but he still remains and will remain one our favorite people. He was part of a wonderful family and most certainly will be missed by anyone who knew him. Rest in Yeshua my brother.
