I sat next to Gerry in the Sales Dept at Aviation Electric a very long time ago. After I left AEL I used to see Gerry on Bingo nights at Holy Name Church. I am saddened to hear of his passing and wish to extend my condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

Loved that man.... Always brought a smile to my face. Enjoyed spending time with him during "happy hour" at The Masterpiece. We lost another "Good Guy". Funny how some people you meet briefly leave a deep imprint on your heart. He was one of these people. My deepest sympathies to all who loved him. Deborah McHenry

Dear Harkin Family, we are so sorry to hear about the passing of a wonderful, kind and funny man. Geri was well known and loved at the Y and built a strong network of friendships amongst the members and staff. I personally will miss him as he always had a kind word, a good joke and just a positive outlook on life. On behalf of all the staff, members, and volunteers at the Y, we extend our sincere condolences for your loss. May your memories sustain you in this time of mourning.

As the bus driver where Gerry resided he was the man who would guide me through little back streets that I did not know existed.Driving Gerry on his many medical appointments was always a great pleasure for me and I will miss him dearly not only as a resident but as a good friend.
