Gerald Lee Houser

Gerald L. (Jerry) Houser, 71 years old, of Pewaukee, WI passed away January 6, 2018. Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years Laura Houser (née Quinn); son, Shawn Houser and his wife, Diane; daughter, Shannon Bertsch and her husband, Darin; daughter, Kristy Swanson, and her husband, Tim; grandchildren, Sadie, Haley, Drake, Cal, Reese, and Brea; other family and many special family friends. Jerry was a lifelong resident of the Village of Pewaukee who proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968, including serving in the Vietnam War. Upon his return, Jerry received his marketing degree from WCTC and held a lifelong career in sales. During his tenure at Geiser Potato Chips, he was known as "The Chip Man" and helped many Pewaukee residents at Menards in the later years of his career. Visitation will be held at Yonke & Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Avenue, Pewaukee, WI from 11am to 1pm on January 20, 2018. Service at 1pm with reception to follow from 2pm to 4pm at the Pewaukee V.F.W. Post, 202 Clark Street, Pewaukee, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. The Houser family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the care givers on 9C at Clement J. Zablocki Veteran Affairs Medical Center.
