Dear Sharon,
Gerry was one of my Dad's dearest friends. He was a good man and a great friend. I remember vividly being awoken countless times on a variety of occasions over the years by the sound of booming voices protesting one injustice or another as fists slammed against the card table to emphasize a point- Gerry, Roger, Moe, Sandy, Booker and Frank playing cards until the wee hours of the morning- They were having the time of their lives.
Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time – our thoughts from Winnipeg are with you.
Deepest sympathy, Kristi (Beaune) Havens and Family.

I haven't seen Gerry for over 30 years but still remember him well. I worked with Sharon in the VON office way back in the 70s and would like to express my sincere condolences to her and her family.

Dear Sharon:
Joe and I are very sorry to learn of Huggard's passing. We have such great memories of our times spent together, the four of us. The world needs more Huggards - fearless and funny. Joe has often said in the past, I wonder what happened to Huggard. He really liked him and they had fun together. Joe is a great prayer and will include a special one for Huggard. I am including my e-mail address and hope you will contact me. In sympathy and with love,
Nancy and Joe
