Gerald Leventhal Obituary
Gerald, 77, recently of Lakewood, NJ (formerly of Passaic Park) passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at his residence.
Jerry worked as a bus driver for Inter City Lines in Paterson, retiring after more than 25 years of service. He then went on to open Pearl Associates in Teterboro, with his son Alan.
Gerald was predeceased by his beloved wife Pearl in 1980. He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife MaryJo Oswald, his loving children; Alan Leventhal and his wife Denise, Michelle Woods and her husband Michael, cherished step-children Eric Oswald and his wife Christina, and Frank Oswald. A great joy in Jerry's life were his grandchildren; Justin, Jordan, Jared, Pearl, Diamond, Giata, and Isabella.
Rabbi Mark Goldberg will officiate a rabbinical service at the Chapel of Frech Funeral Home at 12 P.M. on Sunday, October 28, 2012. The family will welcome friends on Sunday morning from 9 A.M. – 12 P.M prior to the rabbinical service. Entombment will follow at the Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah, Paramus, NJ. Arrangements under the direction of the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.
