Remembering the first time we met Jerry and right away felt like he was family. It meant a lot to me, my mom and my dad when he took time from a family vacation to Disney World close to 29 years ago to bring all of you over to the East Coast to visit with us in Palm Bay. It showed how much he truly valued family. He'll be missed. Our condolences to all of you.

Rest in Peace my friend. Always enjoyed talking with you.

September 12, 2013

I worked with Jerry from 1969 until he left the police department for Nevada. I enjoyed the cribbage games after work with Jerry and Don Mickelson, who passed on in February 2011. The three of us got together for dinner with our wives Thanksgiving week 2010, and shared many memories from all of our years together on the police department and as friends away from the job.
Jerry is going to be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Our prayers are with all of the family for comfort and strength during this difficult time. Jerry was the ultimate tour guide when Bruce, Momma, and I came up to Wisconsin way back, and then again when Seth and I stayed with you in Henderson. I am so glad we were able to spend time with you and Jerry in Ocala right after your retirement. Great memories.

We are so sorry for your loss! Jerry had a life well-lived. Marlene, we know you and the boys have a lot of special memories. We pray for friends, family, and memories that will keep you going. I enjoyed the photo gallery. It reminded me of how much fun Jill and I had with your family at Rick and Michelle's wedding. I especially remember that Jerry's Mom danced the whole night. We will be praying for you all.

Uplifting your family in prayer. Praying God grants you the peace that passeth all understanding. I did not know Mr. Maske so I cannot share memories but to hear the tribute his son, Micheal, pays him I know he must have been outstanding.

When I first met him I felt like I had known him for forever. I always called him, Pop. When he would email me or leave me a voicemail he would always just say, "Daughter, you better call me back when you can". He made such a mark on my life. He was the one I would call when I had to make a tough decision or was having a rough time. He had an amazing life and a great family. I loved the excitement that he always had about whatever he was doing. When I think of him I will always remember his great enthusiasm for life. I will always remember his great laugh and sense of humor. I am so glad that I had him in my life. We have lost a great man and I have lost my touchstone.
