Springer added adventure to my life. Learning from a distance the walks contrary to positive living was important to me.

My heart goes out to his friends and family. I mostly watched the beginning seasons of his show on late night tv. I sometimes wished that I could tell him that I liked it. I remember the teenage girls getting makeovers and one discovering that her natural red curly hair could be beautiful. I remember him removing a guest from his show bc of a comment they made that made him feel the guest was calling anyone born different as defective. He took it personally. I remember the young man with hiv who eventually passed away. I appreciate that he kept doing his final comments at the end of the show. I did see a little bit of his judge show and was surprised. I didn't realize that he had been a lawyer. Ive been watching old episodes of the Masked Singer and it made me miss him. I love that he did it. He obviously had a big heart and a sense of fairness and knew how to have fun.
So, thank you for showing us that part of your soul.

I remember going to a show in CT and asking Jerry to kiss me on the cheek....I was tickled pink when he did but so red in the face when I turned back to him and hit my nose on his microphone. I loved loved loved Jerry Springer for all he stood for, for all he has done and for who he was and forever will be in my heart. I always looked forward to watching his shows and visiting him in CT with my father. Jerry was a spitting image of my 1st husband and both will be missed tremendously. My most sincere sympathy goes out to the Springer family for their loss of one hell of a man.

I particularly enjoyed watching Jerry at the end of each show when he did his summary of what all had transpired during the show and his thought personally. I even felt he was among my many mentors in my life along the way. I always wanted to know the way he thought about things. ~ Thanks Jerry and may your soul forever rest in peace.

I remember when the Chicago City Council took issue with the violence on his show and were considering forcing him off the air. At the City Council kangaroo court Mr Springer and his attorney brought videos of the Black Hawk hockey team in violent fist fights on the ice. The CC shut up. Meeting over.

Mr. Springer was loved by many from his long running TV
series. I imagine my father getting to personally meet him in the spiritual realm. Rest well.

No public person or politician influence me more than Jerry springer. I used to anxiously await Friday morning on WEBN when he would explain a local or national political event in lay terms and explain what we as the citizenry could dol in response. He was so well spoken,so informative, and made a huge difference, and encouraged us to do likewise. I'm sorry that we must bid him farewell. He lived a long and fruitful life, contributing more than most of us to the betterment of everyone, often with a wink or a smile.

Sympathies to the family & friends of our beloved Jerry Springer. Myself, children & father had the pleasure - more than once! - of being in the audience of his show filmed in Chicago. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, and were greeted by him at the end of the taping. He chatted briefly and graciously posed for pics with us each time. Such great memories of a truly remarkable man.
