Dad and I were talking yesterday and he says "ya know Jake was a very talented, carpenter, electrician, and plumber. He came over and built us some shelves when we moved into Clinton Street (1954). As a matter of fact he got me a hammer, I
think I still have it." Dad went into the bedroom, rummaged
around for a couple of minutes and came out and proudly
displayed the hammer to Diane and I.

So when my mom Sue (Willman) McMullen introduced my
dad to Gerry she naturally introduced him has my brother Gerry. Dad responded "Hello Jake." Dad always called Uncle Gerry, Jake from that day forward. Uncle Gerry always called
dad "Herm." Herman is my dads middle name.

I'm going to miss my dear, long time friend whom I had lots of good conversations and fun times with at The Storehouse. Jerry shared his desire with me to feed the poor through The Storehouse ministry. He was always dependable. Good bye my friend, As Proverbs 22:9 states, "Happy is the generous man, the one who feeds the poor".,

I loved working with Jerry at the Storehouse, the few years that I worked there. He was always faithful and sweet to work with. He will be missed, but he fought the fight and finished the race and his spirit was carried by the Angels into the arms of Jesus. Hugs, peace and comfort to you Bev, Greg and Linda,and Hugh and Laura. A great re-union some day!
