Geraldine Belanger

BELANGER, Geraldine Emma (nee Primeau) We hoped she would hold out until 11/11/11 - her 90th birthday - but, Mom made up her own mind and decided to catch an earlier train out of here. She passed away peacefully August 17th, 2011. Gerry is predeceased by her loving husband Fred (2005). She leaves behind her four daughters; Marilynn LeMay (Ron), Frances Newman (Bob), Susan Walker and Shelley Watson (Colin). Her silliness will be fondly remembered by 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. GG was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 399 and an avid bowler, who continued the sport into her 86th year. She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Emma Primeau, her siblings Aurore, Aldege, Francois, Yvette and Jean Paul and great grandson Michael (1995). Dear sister-in-law of Don Gore and Doreen Primeau. Gerry's family would like to thank the staff of Brouillette Manor for the loving care their mother received during her time with them. Visiting will be held at the Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame Street, Belle River (519-728-1500) on Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with R.C.L. Branch 399 Ladies Auxiliary service at 3:00 p.m. and Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Visiting continues on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Good Shepherd Parish, St. William's Site, Emeryville from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
