Geraldine "Gerry" Adelaide Blair, age 95, beloved wife of the late Francis John Blair, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Sheridan at Eastside in Snellville, Georgia. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 24, 1927, Gerry was the eldest daughter of the late William George Mueller and Barbara Stickline Mueller. Her father, William Mueller, served as the full time organist for Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Highlandtown, Baltimore for over 50 years. Gerry was a graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame, Baltimore, Maryland and attended Notre Dame College (now Notre Dame of Maryland University) in Baltimore. Gerry married the love of her life, Francis "Bud" Blair, on September 1, 1947 and enjoyed 70 years of happiness with Bud before his death in 2017. Gerry worked for many years doing bookkeeping for several medical offices. A talented seamstress, she enjoyed decorating her home and creating especially tailored clothing for herself and family members. Gerry was very active for many years in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.

Geraldine was predeceased by her husband Francis Blair and two sisters, Marilyn Little and Claire Drake. She is survived by her son Dr. Kevin Francis Blair and wife Julie, daughter Barbara Lee Strangfeld and husband Robert, three grandchildren: Eric Strangfeld and wife Laura, Adam Blair and wife Melanie, and Elizabeth Blair, five great-grandchildren: Ryan Strangfeld, Emma Strangfeld, Patrick Blair, Caleb Blair and Emily Blair, two brothers-in-law: Charles Little and Daniel Drake and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of the Life of Geraldine Blair and Memorial Mass will be held in Baltimore in October.
