Geraldine Douglas Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 28, 2025.
Douglas, Geraldine (Jeri) nee Gibson, of Centerville died peacefully May 24th, 2025 with her daughter by her side. Jeri was born September 25th, 1937 in Bell county, Kentucky to Leander and Edith (Bays) Gibson. She has reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, husband Glen Douglas.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Gibson; and sister Tevis. She is survived by her loving daughter, Cheryl (Dale). Six grandchildren, who were the joy of her life, Luke, Michael, Nathan (Valerie), Kaitlin, Daniel (Amanda), and Keegan. Eleven great grandchildren; her cherished, sweet sister Charlotte (Steve); dear nieces, Linda (Bob), Lisa (Jeff), and Susan (Larry).

Jeri lived life with curiosity and passion. She embraced the world with open arms, finding joy in travel, fashion, cooking, and decor. Jeri dreamed endlessly of her next adventure and sought beauty and meaning in every moment. A lifelong reader, she carefully filled notebooks with the titles of every book she read. Leaving behind a quiet legacy of imagination and learning.

Her warmth, elegance, and enthusiasm will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
