It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Geraldine Edith Fitzgerald on February 19, 2014. Geraldine was born in Canmore, Alberta. Geraldine was the daughter of James and Emma Fitzgerald. Geraldine is survived by her two children, Patrick Stuhlsatz and Kathleen Stuhlsatz. She is also survived by her two older siblings, Helen Kingsep and Kathleen Fitzgerald. Geraldine was an amazing mother, very loved daughter and sister. Geraldine was a strong social advocate whom always put others first. She is deeply loved by many. Her light may be dimmed, but her memory and teachings will always remain. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at EVAN J. STRONG FUNERAL SERVICES (5502 - 2 Street S.W., one block east of Macleod Trail at 53 Avenue S.W.) on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Canmore Cemetery.
