Geraldine Kawell Obituary

LAKEMOOR – Geraldine "Geri" Kawell, a resident of Lakemoor since 1952, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
She was born Oct. 24, 1918.
She lived in Lakemoor since 1952 with husband, Earl. She is survived by her five children, George and Diane of Washington, Charlene Truesdell and friend Harry of Massachusetts, Wayne and Bonnie of Arizona and Thomas and Nancy of McHenry and Brian and Nancy of Wonder Lake; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved greatly by many stepchildren and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; a sister, Shirley; and a granddaughter, Daniel.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Missionary Alliance Church, 3815 W. Bull Valley Road, McHenry.

I have the fondest memories of being a part of the Kawell family. Gerry was a second mother to me. She made the best homemade pizza's. God's garden must be beautiful. He always takes the best.
