Geraldine Ross Obituary
Born in Orange, New Jersey on November 26, 1933, Geri was the beloved daughter of James Vernere and Mary Patterson Vernere.
A devoted homemaker, Geri was a loving wife to George Ross Jr., who preceded her in death in 2014. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church in Washington, where she especially enjoyed her participation in the Wednesday Bible Study.
Geri is survived by her children: son Gary Ross and his wife Dawn, and daughter Gail Ross Scovell and her husband Jim. She was the cherished "Nana Banana" of grandchildren: Stephen, John (Alexandra), and Andrew, and her bonus grandson, Steven Li, and the proud great-Nana of Parker. Geri is also survived by Stephanie Farley, who was like a daughter to her.
Geri enjoyed spending time with her family and friends above all else. Her greatest joy came from gathering with those she loved most.
A memorial service will be held on November 2 at 3:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church, Washington, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to First Presbyterian Church, 40 E Church St, Washington, NJ 07882 in Geri's memory.
