Our family will miss you, Rod. You spent 23 years with my mother Audrey Whipp, being her best friend and partner. She misses you very much because you truly loved her and took care of her. I spoke with you a lot on the phone, and it was so nice talking with you. You sent Christmas and birthday cards to me. The times we went out to eat together were very nice. You always asked how my pets were doing, which was very sweet. I hope your family knows what a difference you made in my mother's life.

Rod your sense of humor and laugh at a good joke will surely be missed. one of my fondest memories of you is all the times we use to play gin rummy when you would come home for a visit.
