Gerhardt ""Jerry'' ""Busch'' Ellerbusch, Jr., age 85 years, died of congestive heart failure at 2:00 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005 at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was a resident of New Orleans, LA for the majority of his life, but resided in Marrero, LA the last 4 years as a resident of Wynhoven Senior Living facility. He was a veteran of World War II, and former employee at J.C. Higgins, Avondale Shipyard, and Chrysler-Michoud. Preceded in death by: his wife, Nora Robichaux Ellerbusch; his parents: Gerhardt and Jeanette Fernandez Ellerbusch, Sr.; brothers: James, Joseph and John Ellerbusch; and sister, Catherine Ellerbusch Lehmann. He is survived by: one sister, Anna Mae Ellerbusch Mullett; one daughter, Edna Ellerbusch Duvoisin; five grandchildren: Paul Duvoisin, Jr., Michelle Duvoisin Robert, Danielle Duvoisin Straka, Renee Duvoisin Mendez and Alicia Duvoisin; and seven great-grandchildren: Andre and Remy Duvoisin, Brittany Robert, Sarah and Allison Straka, and Ariana and Kellyn Mendez. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
