German Cabrera Obituary

German "Jimmy" T. Cabrera, 54, a 15-year resident of Stevensville, died Oct. 30 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Cabrera was born July 31, 1954 in Manila, Philippines to the late Aqapito and Paulina Cabrera.

He served in the U.S. Army for a brief period of time. He was not working at the time of his passing.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, family and his grandchildren most of all. He was a man of many talents and qualities.

He is preceded in death by his step-son, Shane F. Brinkley and additional brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his life long love Sharon Brinkley, two stepdaughters, Heather Brinkley and Jessica Brinkley; four grandchildren, Bri Ann Brinkley, Brooke Davis, Madison Gorski and Nathan Baker; three brothers, Cesar, Roger and Antonio Cabrera; six sisters Benny Semper, Herminia Cabrera, Erlinda Navarro, Annie and Belinda Cabrera; one sister-in-law, Conchita Cabrera; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing service will be held on Sun., Nov. 2, from 2-9 p.m. at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd, Oxon Hill. A funeral service will be held Mon., Nov. 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kalas Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton.
