Gerrie M. (Kuhns) Korn, 73 of Morganton, N.C., and formerly of Erie, passed away Thursday November 10, 2016. Born in Erie August 31, 1943 a daughter of the late Harry and Frances A. (Harahue) Kuhns. She had been a florist and pet shop owner. Gerrie enjoyed crafts, interior design and was very devoted to her children and grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Harry Kuhns and one sister Frances Rhoades. Survivors include two daughters; Tammie J. Gallagher, Husband Timothy of Erie and Kristie L. Stossmeister, partner Jim Winkleman of Morganton, N.C., one son James R. Stossmeister, wife Marci of Jesup, GA., one sister, Shirley Carlson of Erie, devoted loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and amazing, devoted friends also survive.

Friends are invited to call at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. Sunday from 2-4 and 6 until time of the service at 8 p.m. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery section 9, Monday at 10:45 a.m. Memorials may be made to Because You Care, Inc.
