BOYCHUK, Dr. Gerry On Monday, July 12, 2004, Dr. Gerry Boychuk of St. Albert passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 61 years. Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jeannette; daughter, Krista Keohane (Mark); his precious princess, Kathleen of Edmonton; son, Jason of St. Albert; mother, Kay Boychuk of Edmonton; brother, Dr. Rod (Paulette) of Honolulu; sister, Darlene Blackett (Dr. John) of Kelowna; brother, Dr. Darrell of Edmonton; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Andrew in 1999. Gerry will always be remembered by his many relatives, friends, colleagues, co-workers, and patients for his kindness, compassion, generosity, love of life, humor, and tireless energy. As well as practicing orthodontics for twenty-six years, Gerry was actively involved with community service: St. Albert Breakfast Lions Club for 29 years, Sturgeon Hospital Foundation, Associate Clinical Instructor U of A Orthodontic Program, a Past President of Edmonton and District Dental Society, a Past President of Alberta Society of Dental Specialists, a Past President of the Alberta Society of Orthodontists, and a member of numerous other dental and orthodontic associations. Family, friends, colleagues, and patients are invited to celebrate a tribute to Gerry's life on Friday, July 16, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. at the Shaw Conference Centre, Hall C, 9797 Jasper Avenue. A private family interment will take place. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and thanks to the wonderful staff at the Cross Cancer Institute.
