Gerry Purvis Obituary

Gerry Purvis, 60, of Jamestown, passed away at University Hospital in Columbia, MO on Sunday morning, December 22, 2013.
Visitation for Gerry will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Davis chapel at 10:00 am Friday, Dec. 27 with Rev. Eddie Schoeneberg and Ken Mathes officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Gerry G. Purvis was born in Boonville, MO June 26, 1953, the daughter of Raymond Hicks and Dorothy Kirschman Hicks. She married Kenny Purvis in Prairie Home Aug. 30, 1980. Gerry had worked at Ashley Manor Care Center for many years. She enjoyed camping and outdoor activities with her constant companions- her dogs. She was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church in California, MO.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Christopher and Jonathan, and her brother, Lester Trimble. She is survived by her husband, Kenny, of the home, son, Michael Purvis (Lisa) of Columbia, her daughter, Gina Purvis, of Warsaw, MO. Her sisters; Peggy Adair of Wooldridge, Dixie Betts of New Franklin, Sherry Wilson of California, MO and Susie Knox of Prairie Home and brother, Barry Trimble of Boonville also survive.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
