Oma was always caring and supportive. Oma always found solutions to situations and made the best of it. She never looked down at the choices that I made in my life but still continued to love me and her great grandchildren. I will never forget Oma and the many times she helped me get past my hardships. I will always love you Oma

I remember working in our family grocery store in Leland. It was always a rush in the morning with three of us working and only one cash register. The store did well but Mom was very disappointed on the first day, the total receipt was only $1.38. But we did much better later.
