Gertrude F. Brinley, lovingly known as Trudy, passed away at her home on September 7, 2025 at the age of 84.

Born on April 7, 1941, in East Hartford, Connecticut, Trudy was known for her quiet strength, kind heart and deep devotion to her family.

Trudy was predeceased by her first husband , Thomas R. Steullet; her son, Robert T. Steullet; and her daughter, Kim D. Britto. Despite these profound losses, she remained a steady and loving presence in the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth E. Brinley of Port Saint Lucie Florida; her son, Richard Steullet and his wife Cathy of Stafford, Connecticut, and grandchildren Katie May Steullet and Nathaniel Steullet; her daughter Tami DeLuck and her husband Fred DeLuck; and her beloved grandsons Fred DeLuck and his wife Jami and great grandson Junior (Juju) DeLuck; Ryan DeLuck; Nicholas DeLuck and his wife Robin, and Daniel DeLuck. Trudy also leaves behind her daughter Kim's children, her grandchildren Michael Lemieux, Leighton Munn, Douglas Carley and Cassie McGee all of Connecticut and her dear friends and extended family who will miss her deeply.

Trudy had a zest for life and a love for adventure and the simple joys of life. She was an avid traveler who cherished the opportunity to explore new places with her husband Kenny. From the Smokey Mountains to riding their 4 wheelers at the their camp in Florida. She was known for her dedication and passion for bowling, having bowled for many years in a local ladies league. Her love for the sport brought joy not only to herself but also to her teammates and friends.

Her life was one of grace, resilience and deep love. She will be remembered fondly for her warm, strength, and the joy she brought to those around her.
