Gertrude Cluff Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 20, 2009.
Gertrude Bigelow Cluff We wish to honor and pay tribute to a most loved mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Gertrude Bigelow Cluff. Known best to those who loved her, as "Trudy." Trudy was born March 03 1922, in Warren, Cochise, Arizona to John Arty and Laura Myrtle Kaneaster Bigelow. On January 21 1946 Trudy was married to Kenneth W Cluff in the Mesa Arizona Temple for time and all eternity. They were blessed with three children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren during their 62 years as husband and wife. We love them and will miss them in our lives. Trudy was a dedicated wife and mother. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She lived as an example of service, love and endurance. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years, and enjoyed working in her yard. For years her gardens and flower gardens kept her happily busy creating beauty for the eye. During her life she served in many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, completing a full time mission in Winnipeg Canada with her beloved Kenneth. Her passion in later years was completing her family journal and genealogy. She was often found reading and studying family histories. We are happy to know that as she left the arms of her family here on earth, Tuesday October 20th, and entered into the arms of many family members, on the other side, for a happy reunion. We love you mom. Services will be held Friday, October 23, 2009, 2:00 p.m., at the Mt. View 9th Ward, 1128 E. 100 S. Payson Utah where friends and family may call from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery. Our family wishes to thank Alpine Hospice for their services offered at this difficult time. We also wish to thank the wonderful staff at Mountain Air assisted living for the great support and care of Kenn and Trudy while they lived there, Thank you so much.
