With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Gianna Rossi.

Gianna is survived by her parents, John and Marie Rossi, along with her extended family, and friends. She was a loving daughter, devoted farmer, and loyal friend. Her heart was as big as her personality, and her generosity knew no bounds.

Gianna was the very embodiment of a Renaissance Woman; though, even that title scarcely does her justice. Her grounded nature was evident in her talent for farming and gardening, while her vivacious spirit came alive in the kitchen and through her many artistic pursuits. Her education, job history, and hobbies, when viewed in their entirety, would read like the lifestyle resumes of a dozen people. She embraced hard work and life's finer pleasures with equal passion. She also seemed to be a magnet for strays, especially the four-legged varieties.

Gianna's beautiful spirit was clearly reflected in her home. Her collection was vast, and purposeful. Each item-be it a plate, cigar, bottle, or book-held a story rich with love, laughter, and memories. What may appear quirky or ordinary to others, was, in fact, layered with meaning and intention. And that was how she chose to live-with meaning, intention, love, and purpose.

We do not say "goodbye," but rather "until we meet again," to our dear Gianna.

A vigil/rosary is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9th at 6:00 PM at Casa Bonita Funeral Home, 2500 Cemetery Lane, Stockton, CA. Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10th at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Linden, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the SPCA, or your preferred local charity in her name.
