It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gianni on September 27, 2012. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family. He touched our hearts in many ways as a husband, father, brother, cousin, Zio and Nonno. Gianni is survived by his beloved wife Gloria of 58 years, his children Roger and Johnny; grandchildren Robert, Jordana, Kimberley, Anthony, Kristina; great-granddaughter Sunday and two sisters in Italy, Giovanna and Virginia. He is predeceased by his granddaughter Chelsea. He always enjoyed the time he spent with close friends, family and grandchildren. No one ever left his company without a big hug and a reminder of how much he loved them. Gianni was born in the small town of Montebelluna, Italy in 1930. He was a proud member of the Trevisani nel Mondo and Roma Hall. Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2012 at 8.00pm at St. Peter's Church, 330 Royal Avenue in New Westminster, where Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday, October 5th, 2012 at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome at Crossroads Hospice P.O. Box 1072 Ridgeway Avenue Coquitlam B.C. V3J 6Z4 and the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
