Still don't believe you're gone either. We hit it off as friends from day one in the mid 90's. Your voice, your laugh, your crazy sense of humor. Can't get your voice out of my mind and never will. Thank you for being my friend, always being respectful of me and always being there to listen to me. I always admired you for taking care of Cynthia and Gilbert on your own. It was so beautiful though to see the love you had for your Grandchildren Mariah, Breanna and Brooklyn. They needed their Grandpa so much longer. It was hard for me to see how much it hurt you when Nathan passed. I'm sure you have your Grandson in your loving arms. I can't forget to thank you for guiding my Son Chris at work. He was grateful for your help and always asked me how you were doing. I could never thank you enough for that. Going to miss talking about work, music and just life with you. I want to pick up the phone and hear that deep voice of yours say "yah what's up"? I'd say nothing every time and we'd both laugh. Then we'd have some fun and interesting conversations. You would never fail to say I love you at the end and I'd say I love you too, talk to you soon and take care. Thanks for the right advice, your time, all the funny jokes you'd play on me. We sure had fun all these years. I'm really gonna miss you Gilbert.
