MARGE
I KNOW WE MET SOMETIMES AT ONE OF
OUR COMPANY'S CHRISTMAS PARTYS. VAN WAS THE BEST MECHANIC I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. WE WERE ON THE SAME SHIFT AND TEAM FOR YEARS. IF THERE WAS WORK TO BE DONE VAN WAS THE FIRST PERSON IN LINE TO HELP OR TAKE ON THE JOB NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF AIRPLANE OR WHAT KIND OF JOB. YOU COULD COUNT ON VAN TO BE THERE. I AM PROUD TO HAVE KNOWN AND WORKED WITH A HUMAN BEING LIKE VAN. THE AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY AND THE WORLD LOST ONE OF THE FINEST.

Kurt, Karl and Marge-
I never got to meet him either, but from how much you talked about him it sounds like he was a great guy. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
