J'ai eu le bonheur de travailler à la Bibliothèque du Parlement alors que Gilles Frappier était le Bibliothécaire parlementaire adjoint. Un vrai gentleman, très doué et très dévoué. Un grand Canadien !

I worked with Mr. Frappier for over 15 years when he was Director at the Ottawa Public Library. He led OPL to be the first automated public library in Ontario. I remember him as a kind, supportive, fair Director - and in every meaning of the word, a gentleman. My sympathy to his family.
