Uncle was a great man! He was honorable and very sincere. He had a positive, productive life and many people have had the honor of being touched by his kindness.

Thought of Gilles often after I left the Fatima community. My prayers are with Jeanine and the Family. Gilles taught me so much about French music when I first arrived and have very fond memories. He will be missed.

Our deep condolences, both on behalf of our family, and on behalf of the City of Coquitlam and City Council. Gilles worked hard for his family and community, and played a key role in "notre communauté francophone de Maillardville". My brothers and I all learned piano from Gilles, and I still think of him at the organ at Fatima. He will be missed.
