Gillette Dauphinot Piper

Gillette Dauphinot and I were roommates at Madeira School. Gill was charming, intelligent and focused - a wonderful friend. I´m not surprised that she became a psychotherapist who helped young people. I send warmest affection to her family and would like very much to attend her memorial. Jane Shaw, Medford MA

Gillette was a generous donor to the Furman Counseling Center at Barnard College for many years. Her Fund covered co-pays for therapy for low income Barnard students who needed long term treatment. Many students who would have been unable to access care were able to receive on-going therapeutic support through their years at Barnard, thanks to her generosity. Some students, with traumatic histories, were able to receive intensive support and find significant healing through her gift! We are incredibly grateful for her and send our deepest condolences to the family.
