Two years ago we lost an angel and heaven gained one. For us it seems an eternity but for Gina it is less than the blink of an eye. Living as she lived is our best remembrance.

Gina was a dynamic force - what and who she believed in had her entire energy and focus - she left the world a better place from what she gave. Tragically taken at too early an age - sending condolences to family and the community at large that she so loved.

What a treasure. The time I spent in school with Gina was short, but she made a huge impact on my life. The video I watched made for her coffee shop, brings back even more for me how smart, and self sacrificing she was. I've heard it said, God takes the worthy ones to build his army in heaven. I will miss you lady.

The world was a better place with Gina in it. She brightened the lives of everyone she encountered, never missing an opportunity to share her bright smile. She truly is a 'Saint'. I'm saddened by the way she passed, but know that she's in a much better place now. I look forward to seeing her again.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Gina. I am a community facilitator for 10 developmentally disabled men . I often brought the guys into Edgewater coffee. She treated them as if they were her own family. Giving hugs to each one of them and letting them now how valued they were. That's just who Gina was, a light in everybody's life that she met and will be dearly missed.

We loved seeing Gina on Sunday mornings, and visiting with her after Mass. She kept the same sweet smile throughout her struggle with the cancer, and simply asked for prayers each week. She so much wanted to live, and now she can live in our hearts. Our condolences to all her family and friends.

Dear Sweet Aunt Gina, I will always remember you with the little ones and how much they loved to see you walk in with your big bowl of chocolate strawberries. I also remember all of the interesting people you brought into our lives. Your kindness to everyone was a beautiful example of how to live. I will miss your smile.

My sympathies to the entire community and most especially to Gina's family for the loss of a Saint, not just a Jefferson Saint, but an Edgewater Saint. We won't forget her, Gina lives on within us all who have known her, from decades ago or only weeks ago. I was more blessed then I would ever realize to know her in person, not well, and not recently, but she touched this life too. God Bless her, and her family and I already see her legacy of helping will continue for a long time to come.

To my faithful , loving and joyful friend. I will remember our road trips to see Tomara sing and all the crazy laughter we shared over so many coffee shop stories . We shared many laughs and also we cried on each others shoulders. Thank you so much sharing your life with me and my girls. They are also heartbroken over your departure but they will never forget how you touched their lives. You are one in a million and I will never ever forget you. Thank you and till we see each other again jump all the rainbows and dance till you can't and laugh with everything in you. All our love to the moon and back. Kathy , Chuck, Ahna , Tomara and Kaycee.

Gino, thank you for sharing your life with me. When I think of you, it will always bring a smile...I will never forget the funny stories you shared, the love and patience you demonstrated as you cared for your beloved Mama, the way you accepted and loved everyone. The strength and courage you displayed as you fought your most courageous battle. Most of all, I'll never forget your faithfulness. I miss you more than words can express, but you are free now and that brings me peace. RIP, GINO.

The world was a better place while she was in it, because of the love and faith she shared with everyone. I remains a better place because she remains in our hearts and memories. Gina touched so many lives, as a sister, daughter, Beloved family member, teacher, entrepreneur, and mostly as a friend. She remains with us and always will.

We knew Gina through her coffee shop - "Gina's Coffee Shop" - where we spent many hours, eating, drinking, playing with toys. She was a warm light, and we will always think of that little shop as "Gina's Coffee Shop" for the memories we created there.

Gina was the light of so many lives. Her heart was giving and loving and she always took care of the children. A child of God as she showed us we are completed the cycle and is with the heavenly father form this day forward, where peace and love is all around her forever and ever. Love you Gina - words cannot express our thankfulness for having you here with us in our lives on this earth. Godspeed. Always in our hearts and on our minds - Paula S
