Ginette M. (Boutot) Macero, 61, of Manchester, NH lost a courageous and valiant battle with cancer and passed peacefully with loved ones by her side in Hooksett, NH, on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Ginette was born on January 31, 1959 in Baker Lake, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of the late Bertin and surviving mother Edmee (Kennedy) Boutot. Ginette immigrated to America with her parents and siblings at the age of 10 settling in Derry, New Hampshire where she resided for a number of years. Ginette spent a short time of her life living in San Diego, California. Ginette attended Pinkerton Academy. She attended and completed cosmetology school at Michael's Cosmetology School in Manchester, NH in 1983. Her first job as a cosmetologist was at the Velvet Razor in Derry, NH. Ginette possessed an innate skill in all things beauty and fashion. Later in her life, Ginette was employed as a well loved and respected server at Amphora Restaurant in Derry, NH where she built up a loyal customer base because of her work ethic and excellent customer service. Many who frequented the restaurant will miss Ginette's smile and positive energy. She is described as a selfless, fun, creative and loving person by all. Ginette loved all things related to arts and crafts including drawing and painting. She crocheted and sewed endlessly loving to make blankets and pea shoes for her children. Additionally, she was an avid gardener and loved to visit the ocean. She was an animal lover and adored her loyal companion, Sophie. But her greatest love was spending time with her family, her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and most especially her four children and two granddaughters - the lights of her life. They will fondly recall her saying "Hi baby". Predeceased by her father, Bertin Boutot, Ginette is survived by her mother, Edmee Boutot of Manchester, NH, her four children: Christine M. Tjerandsen and her husband, Carl of Sonoma CA; Travis Boutot, Colton J. Macero and Christopher Macero, all of Manchester, NH; two granddaughters, her greatest joys, Alex Tjeransden and Sadie Macero; two sisters, Linda Piccirilli and Chantale Houde; four brothers, Mike, Guilmond, Alain, and Jocelyn Boutot; and several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020, 12:00 Noon at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester. Please note current restrictions limiting funeral home capacity to no more than 50%. Sending heartfelt condolences to Ginette's children, grandchildren, mother, sisters, brothers and friends. Ginette always lit up a room when she entered and her laughter was contagious! I am blessed to have known her and have wonderful memories of our youth. Praying God embraces her children, grandchildren and family and carries them through this difficult time of loss.

Part 2:Ginette's only fear about her leaving this world were her children. She loved her children and grandbabies endlessly. I was with Ginette as she took her last breath. Even at that time she touched me with her kindred spirit and her peaceful passing. I miss her but I am so thankful that we were able to share this time together, although short, the impact will be long lasting.

Being a nurse, I was honored to help and take care of her during these times. I would like to thank the Norris Cancer Center and Merrimack Hospice care for their support. They were all kind, caring, helpful and they all loved Ginette. RIP my dear sister in law. So much time we could have had together and never realized it. Another lesson learned. Alain and I both love you very much.

part 1:Death is always most difficult for the loved ones left behind. My heart is heavy, and my thoughts are deep. I have known Ginette since I was a young girl.

I was drawn to her beauty, her fun spirit and was challenged by her strong personality. She was a huge influence on my young life as she dated my brother for quite some time and had a beautiful daughter with him.

We all went separate ways and I reconnected with Ginette several years later when she became my sister in law after I married her brother Alain. Unfortunately, we still did not see much of each other until she became ill. When Ginette became ill, she stayed with us. I was able to reconnect with Ginette and quickly remembered how much fun she was. She loved to laugh. I miss our morning talks. Daily I was baffled by her strength. She dealt with her illness with such dignity and grace. Never once did she complain about her illness, her pain or anyone. She got up daily, put her makeup on and looked as beautiful as ever. We laughed, we cried, we shared stories and we enjoyed each other's company. We spent tons of time with her family, her children and grandbabies.
