Ginger Sue Bridges

Ginger Sue Bridges, 64, of Morganton, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at her residence following a period of declining health. Ginger was born July 6, 1956 in Burke County to the late, Howard Bridges and Bonnie Sue Vines. She was her families red-headed Angel who loved spending time with her family, gardening in her flower beds, and watching NCIS. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Penny Stephens; brother, Lee Bridges; and infant brother, Mark Spencer. She is survived by her children, Jason Nichols Sr., Wendy Nichols and fiancée Thomas Farr Jr., Ricky Clark Jr., and Sarah Clark and fiancée Bryan Dockery; grandchildren, Tiffany Walters, Hailey Walters, Brittany Walters, Cynthia Nichols, Gypsi Dockery, Nixon Dockery, Jonathan Buchanan, Lucas Buchanan, and Jason Nichols Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Daxton Walters and Isabella Chalk. Also surviving are sisters, Judy Crowder, Janet Hodge and husband Kenneth; half-brother, Kenny Spencer and wife Gina, and half-sister, Sherry Miller and husband Ray; brother-in-law, Frank Stephens; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Icard Church of God with Rev. Tim Campbell and Adam Crowder officiating.
