Ginger Dusenbury Obituary
Ginger was an immensely talented floral designer for almost 40 years. She was awarded Designer of the Year in 1997, and the NC Jim Treadway Cup in 1999 by the NC Florists Association. She also welded art, arbors, and furniture for several years. Ginger enjoyed boating with family and friends.
Ginger is survived by her loving husband of 23 years David Dusenbury; daughters Jenifer (Kevin) Sawyer, and Samantha Reck; brother David (Nancy) Jaeger, and sister Benita (Greg) Ford; and grandchildren Cheyenne Sawyer, Keyshawn Cooper, Kameron Cooper, Sophie Sawyer, and Riley Sawyer. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sharon (George) Wilson.
A celebration of life will be held at Morris Peaceland Farm, 4200 Graham Newton Road in Raleigh on Sunday, October 1 at 1pm.

So many memories... I don't know if I have a first ... My mama was the most loving kind caring humble person I've ever known. People tell me often how big my heart is and I have to say that is something my mom gave me. She taught me how to love and care and she gave me some of the best qualities I have. She was amazing in every way... She was the one that was always there for me no matter what.... Even when I didn't deserve her she never left me and I never left her... I will miss her and think about her every day of my life until I'm reunited with her. I miss you so much mama... Love ur Sammie

Ginger's eyes were always smiling when I saw her. She made the day a little brighter with her warm eyes and kindness. Her light will shine on in all the lives she touched. I hope Ginger's loved ones can find comfort in the memories shared.

Ginger and I went to Saline schools together. Her locker was near mine. She was a J and I was a K, lol! She was always kind and sweet. We were all so happy she and her husband could come to our class reunion last August! She will be missed. Prayers for peace and comfort for her husband and the rest of the family.
