Dear Vincenza, Rosanna, Antonella, Gaetano and Anthony,
I was saddened to read "on line" today that Joe had died. It is so difficult to realize that someone who has been a vital part of your lives for so long will no longer be with you. I truely hope that time and your wonderful memories of Joe/your Dad will bring you comfort, peace and joy.
Although I am far away, please be assured of my love and prayers. I have been blessed to be able to share good times and bad with the Borgonsoli Family over the past 37 year.

We have all lost a most respected loving man, your kind and gentle touch in life will be sorely missed. We have so many memories of you Joe that put a big smile on our faces. Although you where not well, you knew my father wanted to see you, so you came and told him you where just fine, never did you make him feel your pain. Then even in your final days you asked how Aldo was doing and it brought tears to my eyes, thinking to myself, as sick as you are and with every breath you had left your concern was for us and not for yourself. Joe their will never be another great man like you. I will miss yelling out to you "Hey Mr. Rope, What you doing". So I say this one final time "Hey Mr. Rope why did you have to leave us so soon." To Vince and kids, Joe is watching from up above, he has now become the Angel that will watch over you all, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Corda will be deeply missed. Growing up in the corda house as a child. I live across the street from the Corda's. Mr. Corda and his family always made feel very welcome when I would come over and play with Gaetano and Anthony. He was a great role and a loving father. Rest in Peace.
