DeMARCO, Giuseppe Born in Picinisco, Italy on September 17, 1910, died peacefully at home with his family, on August 2, 2003 at the age of 92. Will be sadly missed by Maria Rosa, his lovingand devoted wife of 66 years, and his children Lina and Antonio Marciano, Maria and Mario Franchi, Michael and Lena DeMarco, Pamela and John DiBella, Romeo and Janis DeMarco. Beloved Nonno to Claudio and Lisa, Jerry and Maria, Rosa Angela and Paolo, Marisa and Marko, Daniela and Dean, Rachela and Darren, Sonia and John, Adriana, Nicole, Joseph and Cassandra. Bisnonno to Bianca, Sabrina, Tea, Paolo, Roko, Michael and Max. Survived by his brother Luigi and his wife Matilda DeMarco and his sister Genoveffa Franchi, along with many other family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Michele and Quintiliana and sisters Marietta and Chiarina. He was a World War II Veteran, who moved with his family to Canada in 1954. He retired from Windsor Salt Mine in 1975 and was an honourable member of the Verdi Club, where he served as a bartender for 7 years. His remaining years were spent working on his beautiful gardens. Visiting at The Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Patrick's Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
