Giuseppe GASPERETTI Obituary
It is with great sadness that Mario Gasperetti informs you of the passing of his father Giuseppe Gasperetti on March 30, 2015, at the age of 86. Giuseppe was the husband of the late Thérèse Huard (deceased in 2013). Besides his son, Giuseppe is survived, in Canada and Italy, by his sister, Ida Ravanelli, his brother, Mario Gasperetti, his sister-in- law Genia Gasperetti, as well as several nieces and nephews including Susan, Robert, and Paul Gasperetti; Maria-Rosa Nichele, Renata Zadra and Ines Zadra; Rita, Luisa, Franco and Mara Ravanelli; and Michel, Danielle, Robert, Dominique, and Jean-Pierre Huard. Giuseppe retired from the University of Ottawa, where he worked for many years in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Visitation will be held at the Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, 271 St- Joseph Boulevard Gatineau (Hull) between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on April 8, 2015. The Funeral will be held on April 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Cathedral at 245 boul. Saint-Joseph Gatineau (Hull). For those who wish, expressions of sympathy may result in a donation to the Parkinson Society Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Manoir Gatineau for their good care. Your condolences may be sent to:

Condolences to the Gasperetti family. Although I did not know Giuseppe personally I did work for many years with Genia Gasperetti & knew her husband & children

Sorry for your loss. I knew Giuseppe from our childhood in Italy, and we also immigrated to Canada in the same year. I have many fond memories of visiting him in Ottawa many years ago when I lived in Montreal. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this sad time.
