Giuseppina "Pina" Pedicini

Giuseppina “Pina” Pedicini age 103 of Brick Township died Monday November 28th, 2022 at her home in Chelsea Assisted Living.  Pina was born in Bologna, Italy on June 6, 1919.  She was the owner and operator of a store there until she met and married the love of her life, Salvatore Pedicini.  Pina was one of the first to travel via plane to the U.S. in 1958 with her husband, where they spent many years in Newark before moving to Brick in 1991.

Pina was a member of St. Francis R.C. Church in Newark while living there.  Since living in Brick Township, she has been a member of St. Dominic’s R.C. Church.

She was predeceased by her husband Sal in 1999.

Surviving are 3 nephews: Dr. Paul Pedicini and Geri, Billy Pedicini and his fiancée Sheila of FL, and Jimmy Pedicini and his wife Dee Dee.  She is also survived by family overseas: Paola Lippi and Luciano both of Italy.

Great nieces and nephews: Joseph, Lauren, Kira, Cary, Elizabeth and Matthew.

Great-great nieces and nephews: Aman, Callen, Remy, Alexa and Raelynn. 

Also surviving are two stepchildren: Carey Pedicini and Esther Kahn both of Australia.

Viewing hours will be held on Saturday December 3rd from 8:30 am to 9:30am at Colonial Funeral Home 2170 Hwy. 88 Brick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Dominic’s R.C. Church in Brick at 10:00 am. Entombment will then take place at 12:15 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
