Gladys Johnson

Gladys Johnson, 87, of Pensacola, passed away on December 26, 2012. Gladys retired from the Civil Service after 27 years. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Gateswood, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quentin Johnson; and her parents Tillman and Virginia Allen. Brother, Martin Allen and her sister, Margaret Northrop.
She is survived by her two sons, Larry (Vicki) Johnson from Bay Minette, AL; and Robert Johnson of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Sheila Ballard, Mckenzie, AL, Christina Cody, Cantoment, FL. Phillip Johnson, Pensacola, FL., David Johnson, Bay Minette, AL. and Jordan Johnson, Bay Minette, AL. Seven great grandchildren, her sister, Yvonne (Talmadge) Rogers, of Gateswood, AL, numerous nieces and nephews.
Randy Ballard, Richard Ballard, David Johnson, Ray Herring, Joe Barnett and Marcus Wiley will serve as Pallbearers.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2012 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 31, 2012 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, officiated by Reverend Rodney Smith and Reverend Lee Bateman; followed by interment at Pensacola Memorial Gardens at 10:30 am.
