Gladys Smith Obituary
Gladys Laverne Smith, 62, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at E.T. York Care Center. Gladys was a life long resident of Gainesville, graduate of Lincoln High School, "Class of 1967" and Santa Fe Community College. She was a telephone operator with AT&T, and a member of Passage Family Church. Survivors include: Three daughters Sonya King, Stacie Kirkland, and Sabrina Smith all of Gainesville, FL. Four grandchildren, Ysatis Ford, Corrinne Cooper, Nassir Jamerson, Ylaina Jamerson. Funeral Services for Ms. Smith, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Passage Family Church 2020 N.E. 15th Street Gainesville, FL. Pastor George Dix Senior Pastor, Elder Terry Robinson Officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation Friday Chestnut Memorial Chapel 2:00-7:00 PM and on Sat. at the church one hour before the service. The cortege will form at the home of Ms. Smith 6 S.E. 25th Terrace at 10:15 AM.
