They say person is judged by how well they raise their children and Mrs. Smith has been responsible for the exemplary family she raised. I did not know her personally. however, we can all follow her example as a mother and educator. may she rest in peace.

Mrs Smith was my 5th grade teacher at Payne Training Elementary at ASU. I enjoyed her as a teacher. My mother, Martha Smith, has stayed in touch with her through church, and Tempe Women's Club. What a wonderful life she had. The photos and video are a lovely tribute.

Mrs Smith was my 4th Grade Teacher at Payne Training in the 1960s. What an amazing teacher and woman she was. And to have lived to be 100! She and my Mom (Martha Smith) have remained good friends over the decades through the Methodist church and Tempe Women's club. You have put a lovely photo collection tribute together. Very nice for those of us far away to share in the memories. My sincere condolences on the passing of your Mother.
