I would like to send my condolences to Gladys' family. As a young nurse many years ago and new to Estevan, Gladys was so welcoming and helpful to me. Farewell to a wonderful nurse and mentor.

To Cousin Rob and Jackie; Aunts Anna & Kay & all Gladys' extended family...
Condolences @ the loss of your mother, your sister, your grandmother, et.al.
It was so wonderful for my partner Francis and I, to have such a delightful and animated visit with Aunt Gladys this past August... she reminisced(sp) a bit about her brothers Bill and Mac (my father), and Rob might recall how we all laughed so much @ Gladys being so shocked at us for not being football fans!
And now, in more ways than one;
Gladys' Rough Rider days are truly over.
May she rest in peace.

Jackie and Rob, What a courageous battle Aunt Gladys fought during the past couple of years. I will remember her for her kind heart, her thoughtfulness for others and her great sense of humor. She lived a full life and is now at peace. My thoughts are with you all. Heather Witzel, Nanaimo, B.C.

Your mother was a wonderful D.O.N. with a great ability to find the humor in difficult or stressful times. Her laugh gave confidence and therefore co-workers were willing to get the job done. She stretched out her hand and said "welcome" to many people. I will always remember your Mom with fondness. It was a pleasure to be a staff nurse under her watch. Connie Memory
