Glen O. Hagen, 56, of Belleville, IL, born June 7, 1958 in San Jose, CA, died Monday, February 16, 2015 in Warrensburg, MO.

Glen was a project manager with Ostrom Painting and Sandblasting, Rock Island, IL for over 26 years. He has seen so much in his life and was expected to see so much more with his loving wife. Everyone who had the privilege of meeting him will always be able to keep him in their heart.

He was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Dwaine and Janice, nee Deitz, Hagen; brother, Lloyd Hagen; and sister, Retta Speers.

He is survived by his wife and lifelong soulmate, Andrea T., nee Tomecheck, Hagen of Belleville, IL; daughters, Tara Hagen of Silvis, IL, and Charlene (David) Turnage of Greenville, NC; and stepson, Justin (Angela) Hooker of Williston, ND; grandchildren, Samuel Taff, Amanda Neil, and Aiden Tuper; sisters, Debbie Hagen, Lori Hagen, and Tracy Hagen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Glen, I can't help but think it was your way of saying hello to me....a lady a few doors down came over this morning and gave me a wind chime. I've only spoke to her once, and never even mentioned you. She was as shocked by my response as I was to hers. I'm not going to call that a coincidence. I think it was you saying hi to me. Thank you, I love you Glen Hagen. Your sister, Tracy Hagen

These times shared together,
Are always here to stay.
Your words go on forever,
Your laughter never fades.
It always hurts to say goodbye,
To all the days once made,
And even though we had to cry,
This pain will never fade.
We lost a gift to heaven; A diamond in the rough.
There's no such thing as goodbye,
We'll see you soon enough.

Glenn was such an amazing guy. I'll never forget the deep conversations we held about politics, religion, and life itself. I await the day to continue such talks with him. He was a true inspiration to all, and will be missed very much. We were glad to have known him. Love to all the family during such sorrowful times, especially to Andrea and Tara; two precious angels who made his life whole.

P.S. Ash wasn't bouncing on my lap that day you walked in and I'll be looking up for your advice on how I can still get YARD OF THE MONTH. ;)

So very sorry for your sudden loss. We didnt have the pleasure of knowing him personally, but knew of him through his amazing wife. He must have been a wonderful man to have such a loving wife and family behind him. Sorry we couldn't be there today for his memorial, our thoughts are with you in this trying time.
