Glenn Edward Adkins, 80, passed away on January 26, 2018. He was born on September 15, 1937 in Wayne County, WV. Glenn was a retired butcher from Kroger Meat Packing House. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, step-son Victor Brown, step-daughter Michelle Safreed. Surviving family includes sons, Thomas (Tina) Adkins, Timothy (Marsha) Adkins, Scott Brown; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and loving dog, Bella. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service at 12pm Saturday, February 10, 2018 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. To leave a message for the family visit www.NewcomerColumbus.com.

The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us.
