Glenn Steven Danelski, 'Spinner', 65, of Sturgeon Lake, Minn., died peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side on Nov. 6, 2006 at Mercy Hospital Health Care Center in Moose Lake after a 10 year battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was born on July 5, 1941 in Willow River, Minn., to Jake and Tillie (Dummer) Danelski. Glenn grew up in the Denham, Minn., area and graduated from Willow River High School in 1959. He served his country in the Army from 1960 to 1963. Upon leaving the service he returned home and lived the remainder of his life in the Willow River area. On Sept. 18, 1965 he married Marie Tommaro of Eveleth, Minn., and together they had four sons.Glenn worked for Ulland Brothers Construction before joining the family business of logging and flocking Christmas trees. He later became co-owner of Danelski Construction Company as well as part owner of Banning Junction. Marie,Scott,Todd, Jeff & Donn, What great memories we have vacationing with your family at Iowana Beach, the crazy dune buggy, Scott's fish hook in Drew's finger (that happened about five minutes after we arrived!) all the laughing and fun things we did. Glenn was always the start of most things and we surely will miss his wonderful smile. He was a true and great friend always. I missed his weekly coffee times when he came to Duluth. Your family will be in our prayers at this difficult time. Love, Tom & Marilyn

Marie, Scott, Todd, Jeff and Donn,
Not only did we love Spinner as a cousin, but we were proud to be his employees at Banning Junction. We had great times there and will miss his big grin, the twinkle in his eye and his joking nature. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Momma D & Boys,

Know that Spinner was loved by our family. He made me laugh a lot growing up. I know he is proud of the great Boys he raised. Hopefully Mom saved him a place at the card table and they are having fun waiting for the rest of us. My sympathy and love to all of you.
