Glenn Carlos Macy June 18, 1952 ~ Feb. 23, 2100 Resident of Brentwood Glenn, 58, a native of San Diego, passed away on February 23, 2011. He attended Grossmont College and majored in Computer Science. Glenn loved fishing, cooking, traveling and horseback riding. He was formerly employed at JBA Trucking Company and attended Golden Hills Church. Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Lydia (Luna) Macy; daughter, Mon‚ Hertzel; son-in-law Dr. Martin Hertzel; grandson William Hertzel and granddaughter Isabelle Hertzel of Columbus, Ohio; father Wayne Macy, Sr. of Campo, California; brother Wayne Macy, Jr. of San Diego, California; son-in-law of David and Celia Luna of Oakley; brother-in-law of Denise Aragon and Doreen Alexander of Oakley, California. Glenn is preceded in death by his mother Lee Macy; and sisters Mary Griggs and Sherrie Bartlett. A celebration of Glenn's life will be on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:00am at Mt. View Christian Center, 5000 Amaryllis Drive, Oakley, California. A reception will follow.

Lydia, we send our love and pray that the Lord will continue to comfort you and minister to your needs. I'm so sorry that you lost Glenn so suddenly but so happy you found each other. On this journey of life...every day is a gift and special memories will keep Glenn close in your heart. Rest in peace Glenn, with our heavenly father.
