"Barney" was such a sweet human being. Always there to keep you safe and act as a "big brother." I remember being with him at a time when he so mourned the loss of his dear friend Fred Bunnell. No doubt they have been happily reunited once again and are both at peace.

I guess most everybody knew "Barney" who always had a smile and time to say How are ya. He's like a icon in Stockbridge and around. I will miss him even though I live in Florida, just knowing he's not around but looking down at us from above.

Dear all,

I am so sorry to learn of Barney's passing. I have many fond memories. I can recall "hanging out" on the front steps of Oliver Kempton's Insurance agency on many a summer night. I was shortly after Glenn came back from NAM. Just shooting the bull on a hot summers night!

Baseball! Basketball! Softball. Golf!.

Hundreds of great moments in Stockbridge with a truly wonderful person.

He will be missed.
