Glenn D. Stila

Stila Glenn D. Passed away on August 12th 2016 in the presence of his loving family.

Glenn was born in Nyack New York to the loving and late Salvatore & Marie Stila.

He later went on to join the Stony Point Police Department and while on duty, met the love of his life Toni Frontino. They married soon after in 1992.

Glenn was very passionate about baseball, the Teamsters, his local 456, body building and powerlifting. He entered into many competitive body building matches and won Mr. New Jersey in 1983. His passion would later be transferred onto his son Glenn Jr and they became inseparable; never did they leave each other's side. They enjoyed weight training, power lifting, watching the Yankees & Giants and attending the Saint Joseph's Regionals to watch his son play. They were always together. However, their most fondest and greatest passion was spending their days together while Glenn Sr. worked construction. Their passion stems back to when Glenn Jr was only 3 years of age. The times where they would just sit watching, talking and especially driving dump trucks were some of the best times they shared.

Glenn is survived by his devoted wife Toni Stila, adoring children Glenn Jr & Karisa Ann, cherished Siblings Donna Stila & Salvatore Stila and many Uncles, Aunts, Nieces & Nephews

Funeral Arrangements are under the care of TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71N Central Highway Garnerville NY 10923

Family will be receiving friends and relative on Sunday August 14th at 1pm till 4pm and 6pm till 9pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception RC Church 26 John Street Stony Point NY 10980 on Monday August 15th at 10AM

Immediately following mass Glenn will be laid to rest at Saint Peters RC Cemetery in Haverstraw NY
